Mehr als 40 % der Diabetiker leiden unter diesen Problemen. Sie k\u00f6nnen verursacht werden durch Polyurie, hohen Blutzuckerspiegel oder Medikamente. Auch andere gesundheitliche Probleme k\u00f6nnen Xerostomie verursachen wie Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen, Autoimmunerkrankungen wie das Sj\u00f6gren-Syndrom, SLE und reumatoide Arthritis, andauernder Stress und Nervosit\u00e4t, die Krankheit Parkinson oder eine Hirnblutung.<\/p>\n<h2>MEDIKAMENTE<\/h2>\n<p>Die meisten F\u00e4lle von Xerostomie sind eine Nebenwirkung aufgrund der Einnahme von Medikamenten<sup>2,3<\/sup>. Es gibt Hunderte von Arzneimitteln auf Rezept, aber auch frei erh\u00e4ltliche Mittel, die mit Xerostomie in Zusammenhang gebracht werden. Einige spezifische Kategorien sind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anticholinergika<\/li>\n<li>Antihistaminika<\/li>\n<li>Antihypertensiva<\/li>\n<li>Antipsychotika und Antidepressiva<\/li>\n<li>Appetitz\u00fcgler<\/li>\n<li>Chemotherapeutika<\/li>\n<li>Neurologische Mittel<\/li>\n<li>Mittel gegen eine \u00fcberaktive Blase<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Menschen, die t\u00e4glich mehrere Medikamente einnehmen, haben ein gr\u00f6\u00dferes Risiko auf Xerostomie. Bei 3 oder mehr verschiedenen Arten von Medikamenten steigt das Risiko auf Xerostomie auf rund 40 %.<\/p>\n<p>Radiotherapie oder Operationen im Kopf-Hals-Gebiet k\u00f6nnen eine erhebliche St\u00f6rung der Speichelproduktion verursachen, dies kann zu ernstzunehmenden Problemen f\u00fcr diese Patienten f\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<p>Klinische Studien zeigen, dass die Verwendung von bioXtra die Symptome erheblich verringert und die Lebensqualit\u00e4t stark verbessert<br \/>\n<sup>4,5,6,7<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<h2>PFLEGEBED\u00dcRFTIGE PATIENTEN<\/h2>\n<p>Patienten sollten angeregt werden, so viel wie m\u00f6glich ihre t\u00e4gliche Mundpflege selbst zu \u00fcbernehmen. Wenn sie allerdings dazu nicht in der Lage sind, ist die t\u00e4gliche Mundpflege eine wichtige Aufgabe der Pflegekr\u00e4fte und gilt als fundamentaler Aspekt der Gesundheitsf\u00fcrsorge <sup>8<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Das Einatmen von Bakterien aus oropharyngealer Fl\u00fcssigkeit birgt ein gro\u00dfes Lungenentz\u00fcndungsrisiko, sowohl bei J\u00fcngeren als auch bei \u00c4lteren. Eine schlechte Mundhygiene kann auch zur Entstehung einer Lungenentz\u00fcndung beitragen.
